THANK YOU!

Heartfelt Thank You ...

Finally it is Saturday September 12th... 7am in the morning... I look out the window... shoulders slouch... it is raining!

Of all days - why didn't the clouds just miss this area for today, I thought.  That's ok - there are huge crowds venturing forward on the Walk for Cancer... if they can brave the elements then some folks may turn up for the community walk.

I'd like to Thank the folks who showed up... and a huge THANK YOU to the people who took time to pull something together for the walkers.  I truly value all that you did...

Continuum Wellness - Thank You for the warmth and hospitality ... the warmth of the special mixed tea brewed with a magical touch of lemon grass and the date/ tahini and other (I believe had almonds, oats) treats made for a very welcoming start to the walk.  The services you offer massage therapy, chiropractic health care, acupuncture, holistic nutrition, homeopathic medicine, reflexology, psychotherapy, and manual lymphatic drainage can meet many of the therapeutic treatments we seek.  We sat in the yoga studio sipping warm tea (did I mention it was raining outside... so how wonderful was this) eating treats while hearing about the mindfulness yoga classes, meditation classes and TRX suspension training being offered in the studio.
THANK YOU for taking the time to talk to us and for the warm hospitality, Sjoukje and Nicole.

Six (formerly Raw Juices) - Thank You ... for opening up the bottles of juices for us to try and walking us through your juice making process.  I loved the beetnik juice - beets, carrots, pear, celery, lemon (100% organic)... my body thanks you for the amazing experience.
THANK YOU June for taking the time to answer our questions and walking us through the cold press method you use

Lawrence Park Animal Hospital - Thank You for the friendliness and warmth you showed us.  Having had tea and juice we passed on the warm coffee brewing and listened to the amazing pet stories you shared with us.   You told us about the services you offer from boarding, surgery, cat friendly practice, diagnostic imaging, inviting specialists to the hospital instead of having the animal travel far for specialized care, medicine, microchipping, nutrition counselling, and wellness/ prevention.
THANK YOU to Dr Larry Wilder, Carolyn, Amberlee and Andrew for making our extended care to love for animals a special event

Locke Library  - Thank You to the Locke Library staff for keeping everything ready for us for the keynote speaker talk.  We felt welcomed and love the library.
Dr James Maskalyk - Thank You for sharing your incredible experiences with us... we listened spellbound to the effort and emotional connection you must have felt on your missions in delivering the type of healthcare that all of us wish we have if and when we need it.  Choosing between English and Medicine - I am glad that medicine won... it needs doctors like you in the healthcare system.  We look forward to reading your next book.
